There is a dog named "Wolves" that will have you howling (with laughter). You really feel like you "know" these characters, and as the story moves along you feel like they are your friends. One that you can laugh with and cry with and applaud when she reacts exactly how you would. Beyond her cool shoes, there is a real woman- one you can really relate to. In fact, I have suspicions about "Beth" and her love of amazing shoes. Maybe I didn't know what I was missing? Because if this is any indicator, I've truly been missing out on a very cool kind of read.įirst and foremost, the characters really jump off the page.
